CANOE / KAYAK:

The Manistique and Fox Rivers offer many Canoeing and Kayaking enthusiasts a wide variety. The Manistique River flows through the southern portion of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offers paddlers a very enjoyable trip. You can start in Manistique Lake and paddle your way south through the Manistique Sate Forest with camping and access sites along the way.
   The Fox River is well know for trout fishing and wildlife viewing and also has easy access and camping areas along the banks. Canoe or Kayak Trips can range from 1 to 6 days with lots of options in between.
